THANKSGIVING PIE FEAST


Please join us at our Thanksgiving Day Play!
Bring your favorite Pie to share at our Thanksgiving Pie Feast after the play.

January
OREO PARTY

Your child will be writing letters all month trying to persuade someone to do something :).
In preparation for these persuasive letters we organize our writing using Oreo Graphic Organizers.
After the completion of our letters we celebrate by having an OREO PARTY!

February
100th DAY PARTY

On the 100th Day of School we have a party!  Please send your child in with 100 of something - be creative!

March
S'MORE PARTY

This month your child will be writing HOW-TO books!  Their first book is on HOW-TO make a s'more - yummy.
After completing this book they are given the opportunity to use their book, follow their own instructions, and create
a yummy s'more right in the classroom.

April
EASTER EGG HUNT

Easter Egg Hunts are so fun!
In Math your child will have the opportunity to earn the number of eggs they can find at our Annual First Grade Easter Egg Hunt.

MAD LIB PARTY

Mad Libs are hilarious and great way to teach children about grammar!
After your child climbs the grammar ladder
and
arrives at the very top we will have a
Mad Lib Party!
Climbing the Grammar Ladder means they will know and understand: nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, and conjunctions.
